The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team has announced a multi-year strategic partnership with agentic infrastructure platform Vercel.

The deal, announced ahead of the Pirelli British Grand Prix, adds Vercel to a technology partner roster that already includes Microsoft, Meta AI, and Snapdragon.

The move reflects Mercedes’ broader push to build one of the most commercially layered tech ecosystems in the paddock.

Richard Sanders, Chief Commercial Officer at Mercedes, framed the partnership around a shared operating philosophy.

“Formula One is where every millisecond matters, every decision counts and continuous innovation is fundamental to success,” Sanders said.

“The Vercel platform is helping organisations around the world build faster, perform better and innovate with confidence.

“We are excited to welcome Vercel to the team and look forward to building a partnership that delivers value both on and off the track.”

The partnership will activate through customer experiences, executive leadership forums, and technology events, with plans for a platform connecting Vercel’s developer community with the team’s wider fan and partner base.

“Speed wins. It’s true on the track and it’s true on the web,” said Vercel founder and Chief Executive Officer Guillermo Rauch.

“Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS is one of the fastest teams in world sport, and we’re proud to support a team that shares our obsession for engineering excellence and relentless optimisation.”
