Formula 1 has announced a global publishing partnership with DK Books, launching a multi-year programme of officially licensed titles designed to extend the sport’s reach beyond race weekends and digital platforms.

The collaboration launches in November 2026 with a collection spanning gift, activity, and educational books.

The first wave is family-focused – The Official F1 Quiz Book arrives in late November with more than 2,000 questions, followed by The Official F1 Activity Book and The Official F1 Colouring Book.

The deal is a licensing play as a result of F1’s shifting demographics.

The sport’s global fanbase now exceeds 830 million people, with 42 per cent female and 43 per cent under the age of 35 – numbers that make family-friendly publishing a logical commercial extension rather than a novelty.

“As Formula 1’s global fanbase continues to grow and diversify, storytelling plays an increasingly important role in how fans connect with our sport,” said Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer of Formula 1.

“Our partnership with DK allows us to reach new audiences around the world by delivering high-quality, accessible books, while creating a new and creative avenue to deepen engagement with fans of all ages.”

Future publications will move beyond the family-friendly launch titles to cover the broader action of the series, both on and off the track, with all books available through major retailers globally.

“Everyone at DK is so excited to be working with Formula 1 on this brilliant range of books over the coming years,” said Mark Searle, Managing Director of DK.

“F1 is one of the biggest sports brands in the world and growing at an astonishingly fast pace – this feels like the perfect time to launch this range which will excite and delight fans new and old.”
