Aston Martin Aramco will introduce smart water bottles to its Formula 1 team as part of a new partnership with water bottle technology company AQUAME.
One of the most well-known facts about F1 drivers is how much fluid they can lose per race, with drivers sweating out between 2kg and 4kg of water.
This partnership will provide Aston Martin with AQUAME’s “advanced hydration performance technology” that can track water intake throughout a race weekend.
AQUAME’s 2.0 smart water bottle uses built-in hydration intelligence to track daily water intake in real time and connects via Bluetooth to a smartphone.
This then syncs with the AQUAME mobile app, which delivers personal hydration insights, including drinking frequency, fluid volume, and hydration patterns.
“Our collaboration with Aston Martin marks a major milestone for AQUAME, bringing our advanced hydration technology to the pinnacle of motorsport to support a more data-driven approach to hydration,” said Steve Aidun Xie, Founder & Managing Director, AQUAME.
AQUEME will become Aston Martin’s official water bottle supplier and will provide team members with their own branded water bottles during each race weekend, ensuring they are hydrated at some of F1’s hottest races of the season.
The company claims their solution helps athletes and everyday users better understand their bodies and make smarter decisions around performance, recovery and daily wellbeing.

Aston Martin fans can also purchase their own AQUAME smart water bottle and choose from five exclusive designs that incorporate the team’s signature colourways.
