The TGR Haas F1 Team has announced a partnership with D.Energy as its Official Sustainability Partner for the 2026 Formula 1 season.

The collaboration is designed to advance the team’s environmental commitments in line with Formula 1’s net zero target of 2030.

D.Energy is a blockchain-based energy platform – meaning it uses a decentralised digital network to capture, verify and record real-world energy consumption data in real time.

Rather than relying on self-reported figures, the platform connects physical energy measurement tools directly to a transparent digital settlement layer, making consumption data independently verifiable and commercially accountable.

In practical terms for Haas, that means energy usage across factory and trackside operations, logistics, freight, travel and relevant supply chain activities will be recorded, verified and fed into the team’s sustainability reporting.

D.Energy will also analyse energy usage patterns to identify efficiency opportunities and develop reduction strategies. Alongside that, the platform will support the curation of Haas’s external ESG reports and internal sustainability initiatives.

The D.Energy brand will feature on the VF-26 and across the team’s digital assets throughout the season.

“Partnering with D.Energy marks an important step forward in our sustainability journey,” said Haas Team Principal Ayao Komatsu.

“Formula 1 is evolving rapidly, and it’s vital that we evolve with it. D.Energy brings the expertise and innovation required to help us reduce our environmental impact while maintaining peak performance on and off the track.”

The deal adds to a growing number of sustainability-focused commercial arrangements across the grid as teams build and for Haas, the D.Energy partnership provides both the measurement tools and the reporting framework to underpin a more structured approach to environmental governance.
