The Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team has announced a multi-year partnership with Cohere, which joins the organisation as its Official Generative AI Partner.
The collaboration will see Cohere deploy its enterprise AI technologies across the team’s engineering, performance and operational departments, providing employees with access to its agentic AI platform ‘North’.
The platform combines generative and search capabilities designed to support data analysis, decision-making and workflow efficiency within one of sport’s most demanding operational environments.
Formula 1 teams operate in highly data-intensive environments where marginal gains can translate directly into competitive advantage.

By integrating Cohere’s large language models and enterprise AI systems into key workflows, Aston Martin aims to improve analysis speed and unlock additional operational efficiencies both at its Silverstone campus and during race weekends.
“Our new global partnership with Cohere reflects a shared commitment to precision, speed and continuous improvement,” said Jefferson Slack, Managing Director of Commercial and Marketing at Aston Martin.
“These values define both cutting-edge AI development and elite motorsport and we look forward to exploring how we can work together to maximise performance gains across our business in the coming years.”
Cohere branding will appear on the side of the chassis and on the arm of the front wing mirrors of the AMR26 from the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.
Together with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team, we’re excited to push the boundaries of what enterprise AI can deliver under extreme performance conditions.

Francois Chadwick, Chief Financial Officer at Cohere, said F1 provides a natural testing environment for enterprise AI.
“Formula One represents one of the most demanding data environments in the world,” he said.
“Together with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team, we’re excited to push the boundaries of what enterprise AI can deliver under extreme performance conditions.”
The partnership adds another enterprise technology provider to Aston Martin’s commercial portfolio as teams continue to integrate artificial intelligence, data analytics and advanced software into performance operations across the championship.
