Scuderia Ferrari HP has renewed and expanded long-standing technical partnerships with Italian braking specialist Brembo and turbo technology provider Garrett Motion as it prepares for the new Formula 1 season.
Under its extended agreement with Brembo, Ferrari will continue to receive complete braking systems – including hydraulic components and friction materials – for its F1 cars, with the scope of the partnership also broadened to encompass Ferrari’s Hypercar programme in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
Brembo’s bespoke braking solutions are designed to cope with the requirements of the modern F1 car, reflecting a long history of joint research and development going back more than five decades.
Ferrari has also extended its technical partnership with Garrett Motion, which will continue to design and supply the next-generation turbo systems for the team’s F1 power unit under the 2026 regulations.
The relationship with Garrett dates back to the introduction of the hybrid turbo era in 2014 and is positioned to evolve as the sport switches to a simpler hybrid architecture with a larger electric contribution.
“Garrett has been a trusted partner for many years, and their technology has consistently supported us in achieving our goals,” said Fred Vasseur, Ferrari Team Principal.
As we prepare for the significant technical challenge of the 2026 regulations, we are pleased to continue this collaboration and to rely on Garrett’s expertise.

“As we prepare for the significant technical challenge of the 2026 regulations, we are pleased to continue this collaboration and to rely on Garrett’s expertise as we enter the next chapter of Formula 1.”
Both renewals arrive at a time when F1 teams are actively expanding their technical and commercial ecosystems ahead of the sport’s major 2026 regulatory reset.
That trend is visible not only in supplier continuity at historic manufacturers like Ferrari, but also in increasingly creative partner portfolios elsewhere on the grid.
