McLaren Racing has announced a new multi-year partnership with sportswear brand PUMA, which will become the team’s official provider of race kit, teamwear and fan apparel from the 2026 season.

The agreement will see PUMA design and supply performance team kit and fanwear collections across McLaren’s global racing portfolio, including the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team, Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team, McLaren’s F1 Academy programme and McLaren F1 Sim Racing.

From 2027, the partnership will also extend to McLaren United’s World Endurance Championship Hypercar programme.

The deal marks a significant expansion of PUMA’s presence in F1 and global motorsport, adding McLaren to a roster that already includes multiple teams across the grid, as well as the sport itself.

The deal sees PUMA replace Castore, cutting short the British sportswear brand’s multi-year partnership which began at the start of the 2022 season.

Under the partnership, PUMA will deliver both on-track team kit and off-track lifestyle and replica collections, with designs built around McLaren’s racing heritage and iconic papaya colour scheme.

The first Lifestyle Collection is set to launch globally on 20 January, with the Replica Collection following on 2 February.

“Our sport is in incredible shape, and it’s been fantastic to see an influx of major fashion and lifestyle brands who are looking for deep and meaningful ways to engage with our growing global fanbase,” said McLaren Racing Chief Executive Officer Zak Brown

“I cannot think of a better partner than sportswear giant PUMA to help us supercharge our portfolio of fan wear.”

For PUMA, the partnership forms part of a broader strategy to deepen its footprint in elite motorsport, building on its long-standing relationships across F1 and other global racing series.

PUMA CEO Arthur Höeld said the deal represents the next chapter in the brand’s motorsport heritage.

“At PUMA, we are very proud of our long and successful history in motorsports and having worked with some of the greatest drivers and teams in the industry over the past decades,” Höeld said.

“It is a great honour to write the next chapter by welcoming McLaren Racing as our new partners.”

Beyond teamwear, the partnership will also include fan engagement initiatives and immersive brand activations, with the first experiences set to debut at the opening race of the 2026 season.

The deal adds another major global consumer brand to McLaren’s commercial ecosystem as the team continues to expand its lifestyle and fan engagement strategy alongside its on-track ambitions.
