Dan Fallows has returned to the Red Bull stable after being appointed Technical Director of Visa Cash App Racing Bulls, following his short spell at Aston Martin.
VCARB confirmed the appointment on Thursday, with Fallows set to join the team in April and report into Chief Technical Officer Tim Goss as part of a strengthened technical leadership structure.
Fallows previously spent more than a decade within Red Bull’s aerodynamic department before leaving in 2022 to take up the role of Technical Director at Aston Martin, where he was central to the team’s rapid rise up the grid during the early stages of the current regulation cycle.
However, his tenure at the Silverstone-based team proved shorter than expected, with Aston Martin announcing late last year that Fallows had departed the organisation as part of a restructuring of its technical department.
I’m very pleased to be joining VCARB at an exciting time for the team – there is a clear vision and strong technical ambition.

Racing Bulls’ move sees Fallows return to the wider Red Bull organisation, this time in a leadership role at the Faenza-based sister team as it continues to evolve its technical identity ahead of the 2026 regulation reset.
According to the team, Fallows will take responsibility for the overall technical direction of VCARB, working across design, aerodynamics and performance functions.
“I’m very pleased to be joining VCARB at an exciting time for the team,” Fallows said.
“There is a clear vision and strong technical ambition, and I’m looking forward to working closely with Tim and the wider engineering group to help drive performance and continue building the team for the future.”
