The Race Media Awards returned to London on January 21 for its fifth annual event celebrating excellence in motorsport communications, marketing, events and PR.

The ceremony took place at One Ninetyfour Piccadilly and selected winners drawn from across the global racing ecosystem.

Hosted by sports presenter Jo Ankier, the ceremony also featured a business insights panel with BWT Alpine F1 Cybersecurity Partner Arctic Wolf, looking at commercial partnership strategy and fan experience.

As Formula 1 and its wider racing ecosystem continue to expand globally, the awards have evolved into an acknowledgement of how the sport is being packaged, promoted and commercialised far beyond the circuit.

This year’s ceremony showcased the scale of ambition now being applied to motorsport storytelling – from large-scale manufacturer launch campaigns and global race promoter activations, to digital-first social media strategies and experiential fan zones designed to turn race weekends into multi-day entertainment destinations.

Audi’s R26 concept livery reveal campaign was recognised for its social media execution, reflecting how manufacturers are now treating F1 launches as global brand moments rather than traditional motorsport unveilings.

Race promoters were also firmly in the spotlight, with Circuit of The Americas recognised for its continued transformation of the MSC Cruises United States Grand Prix into a major international sporting and entertainment festival.

Meanwhile Silverstone’s LandoStand, named one of Sector’s 12 Actications of 2025, at the Qatar Airways British Grand Prix highlighted the shift towards artist-style fan communities built around drivers.

Away from F1, the awards also reflected motorsport’s increasingly diverse content and commercial output, with campaigns and productions spanning endurance racing, NASCAR, IndyCar and grassroots initiatives aimed at improving access and inclusion within the industry.
