Audi’s Formula 1 project has revealed its official name and first launch event as the German manufacturer prepares to debut in the sport next year.

Replacing Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber, Audi has been planning its arrival into F1 since announcing its intention in 2022.

As the 2025 season progressed, Audi made announcements regarding new sponsors and partners, including a title deal with UK-based fintech company Revolut as well as brands such as bp, adidas, and Paulaner.

Now though, with Sauber’s final race run in Abu Dhabi last week, Audi can begin its preparations in full – starting with the unveiling of its official entry name, ‘Audi Revolut F1 Team’.

It has also revealed its logo, while also confirming its car and debut livery will be launched in Berlin on January 20, ahead of the behind-closed-doors pre-season testing in Barcelona later in the month.

“Unveiling the Audi Revolut F1 Team name and logo marks another major milestone on our journey into the pinnacle of motorsport,” said Chief Executive Officer of AUDI AG, Gernot Dollner.

“Both give our ambition a clear identity, reflecting a strong vision and innovative spirit. We now look ahead to Berlin in January, where we will officially present this exciting new chapter for the Audi brand to the world.”

Continuing the rebrand off the track, it was also confirmed that Sauber Motorsport AG will be renamed Audi Motorsport AG, with the team’s technology centre in Bicester becoming the Audi Motorsport Technology Centre UK.
